Made in the Hebridean Islands of Scotland

Sterling silver signet ring with thistle design. This ring depicts the 'Guardian of Scotland', with two further thistles engraved on either side of the signet. The legendary protector of Scotland, the thistle earned its title when Viking invaders attempted to surprise attack the Scots army and cried out in pain when they trod on thistles. The Scots were alerted to the attack and able to fight and defeat the intruders.
